L Denise Coleman

Denise is a native of the Chicagoland Metropolitan area and currently resides in the Tampa, Florida area. She is an alumnus of Governors State University, where she received degrees in Business Administration and Management Information Systems.

When she is not servicing higher education institutions, as a senior executive consultant, Denise spends her time providing service to our youth, who seek a desire to attend colleges, universities and/or trade schools. She enjoys providing the mentorship and guidance that students and their families need to navigate the college search process for admission, grants, and scholarships.

However, her real joy is traveling to the Caribbean islands or visiting family across the USA with her fiancé. She is a “GiGi” to Zariah and Bella. They along with her children are her heartbeats of happiness. She joined Brown Skin Brunchin because she wanted to meet and network with women of color, who have similar ideas and journeys and who like to have fun. She is looking forward to enjoying good food/drink with bonafide Sistas!
